Welcome to LoDo Cares

We are a community volunteer organization begun by the LoDo District, Inc. in 1991.

LoDo Cares supports efforts that activate, connect and improve our community – working to enhance the experience of those who live, work and play in LoDo and nearby communities.

Our group started by helping at the Barth Hotel, the assisted living center at 18th and Blake in LoDo.  Since then we have become a lead coordinator for local volunteer opportunities in the community. We now have 4 major volunteer initiatives:

• The Barth Hotel
• Caring and Sharing
• Parks and Beautification
• LoDo Angels

In addition to expanding our programs, LoDo Cares has expanded its participation by forming a partnership with LoDoNa (LoDo Neighborhood Association). The combined group brings together both the residents and businesses of LoDo and allows us to be more effective and far-reaching.
